I just happened to stumble upon this website while helping a friend find an apartment in D.C. and was shocked to see some of the negative comments. I moved into Trophy Club about two months ago, and absolutely love it. I lived in the Richmond area for almost 15 years now and have not found a rental home/duplex/apartment that I have enjoyed more so far. The apartments are clean and well maintained, and the grounds are beautiful. I seriously feel like I'm at the beach when I standing on my balcony at night; its quiet and extremely serene. My apartment is wonderful as well, when I moved in things were in perfect working order and the maintenance staff has always responded to my requests within a day of my calling the problem in. The cable everyone keeps complaining about has been in 100% working order with a perfect picture the entirety of my stay so far. I have never even had a negative thought about the cable. I actually LIKE having Trophy Club run the cable, it means one packaged bill each month instead of five or six bills to individual companies, plus if anyone has ever dealt with Comcast and Verizon before you know what a scam their services are and how much a pain they are to come troubleshot any problem. As for the internet, I have been using Verizon, and downloading movies/music and watching them from my computer have been fine. My utilities are right where they should be, I moved in the middle of summer and was pleasantly surprised to find the bills were not running high even for our hottest months in Virginia.
As to the other peoples complaints, I feel like these websites are never focused on the good but always the bad. I have worked in the service industry for quite awhile and have always found that when things are great no one ever speaks out, but the few who nit-pick and are generally unhappy with life are the ones who are more then happy to bring others down and complain. To the Trophy Club Staff I would like to encourage and thank you for being amazing thus far, unfortunately you often hear the bad before you hear the good. As a new resident, I plan to continue to enjoy my beautiful apartment for a long time.

Sounds to good to be true for sure just like the other I LOVE IT HERE REVIEWS. As far as the packaged bill of 65 for a single tv, I suppose management also likes that one. You will miss out on the great deals out there now for cable and satellite if you sign here and the picture and service will not be as good most likely. I had a terrible picture and got an eviction notice when I tried to install a directv dish per their constantly changing dish install requirements. Be sure to ask about the fee for breaking your lease here, but be sitting down first!!!

Sorry you were shocked and I doubt if you stumbled on here, steered here by the front office to help them falsify ratings to get them higher. Some people may need a new pair of glasses around here it seems. NO LEASE BREAKAGE AT ALL out of touch again usually 2 months rent at other facilities, that should be a RED FLAG TO PERSPECTIVE TENNANTS>>>> HARD TO RENT HERE????
