No choice for cable except overpriced re-beamed dishnetwork from Indiana( compare service channels here with that of regular dish at dishnetwork.com bronze 100 pkg.)
No options except slow slow slow dsl or clearwire for internet( Ck spd. don't believe claims of high spd.s/b 8megs download at least, see above website to check)
Balconies have wood slats with up to 1/2 inch gaps, better be on top floor
Our Balcony had no outlets or storage area ( No christmas lights)
Sidewalks around complex have dropoffs and missing sections which could be hazardous if using a wheelchair, walker or it is dark. Some have railings and some do not.
Maintenance response and quality is good most of the time
Don't count on getting statement errors fixed if in their favor
Beware of water meter charges, meter readings and statement readings do not match
Do not attempt to install a dish or any other kind of cable ( Eviction notice to us even when we were able to meet their ever changing demands for installation)
Water is nice but geese make a mess on the sidewalks and our fountain has been broken for over 4 months
Fire dept/rescue squad noise is a nuisance in the morning and at night
Carpet appears to have no stain resistance so make sure you get new at least
NO LEASE OUT CLAUSE AT ALL>>>S/B RED FLAG
Email us at u4trouble@live.com for a better choice if you desire. Best place around for less money but won't last long, walking distance to grocery store, american family and bars and best of all FIOS Internet and TV, no more RABBIT EARS HURRAY!!!

I am responding to this post as an agent of Edward Rose, an on-site employee and resident of Trophy Club Apartments. I would first like to apologize for any misunderstanding of what Trophy Club has to offer and thank you for voicing your concern. I hope this posting helps to explain the reasoning behind these complaints and the solutions we are working on to improve. We use Dish Network as our cable provider for a very specific reason. Comcast and Verizon are not wired on the property and Edward Rose has found that using a community wide satellite has been the best solution for this problem. We do not currently have HD or DVR; the company has begun implementing HD and DVR services at our Indiana properties. We are hoping to have these capabilities in late 2009 or early 2010, though there is not a set date for these services to begin. Our cable boxes are all HD and DVR capable, so the property is fully prepared to implement these services as soon as we are able. We would never tell a prospective renter that we offer HD programming, and would be happy to show each prospect our Dish Network programming and fully explain how the satellite works before their move. Our Dish Network packages start as low as $35.00. We have different tiered cable packages just like Comcast and Verizon, as well as the premium channels HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Showtime and international programming. The package that is mentioned in this post has over 200 channels that include not only Fox News but CNN, CSPAN, CSPAN 2, ESPN and all ESPN alternative channels, FX, over 40 Sirius Radio music channels, the NFL Network and much more! The leasing office would be happy to give anyone our cable brochure that lists all channels received for each package. In response to residents having their own satellite dish, we follow the National Electric Code Grounding Provisions. In order to comply with the National Electric Code we have an addendum to each and every lease that is signed at Trophy Club Apartments that fully explains the specifications of these codes to install a personal satellite dish. If these codes cannot be met we have every right to enforce and evict Residents that do not meet our specific law-abiding provisions. As for breaking your lease, we currently do not allow early termination. Residents and prospective renters must realize that any signed lease at Trophy Club is a legal binding document between Occidental Development and the stated Tenant. This lease states that the Tenant will be responsible for payment in full of the leased premises for the entirety of the lease. We do not have an early termination clause in the lease and when we do offer lease cancellations it is our courtesy to residents. We do have the fire department that is located across the street from Trophy Club Apartments on Polo Parkway. We feel that the close proximity to the fire department is a positive not a negative. If an emergency situation should arise, we have the piece of mind knowing that emergency help is close and could respond quickly. We do not have a car washing facility on our property, but because of our great central location, Dave??s Auto Spa is a mere 0.5 miles (across the street), a mere one minute drive (according to mapquest.com) from our clubhouse. We feel car washing in the community brings down the value and serenity of our beautiful well-kept property. Our five lakes on the property are apart of what makes Trophy Club Apartments a desirable place to live, as well as the wildlife that comes with these lakes. Though the geese can be a nuisance at times it comes with the territory of having a community with lakes. We have contacted the Wildlife Protective Services to remove the geese. However, as they are not able to relocate them without interfering with other geese habitats they would be exterminated, which we do not agree with. Therefore we do our best to clean up after them and respectfully ask that our residents do not feed the wildlife so as not to make our community more inviting for them. We feel that fencing around the lakes would detract from the community; each and every resident is given a tour of the community before they sign their lease contract and are aware of the open bodies of water. If a prospective resident is not comfortable with the open bodies of water we do have non-lake view apartments available. The fountain that is spoken about in this post is currently not working. Our contractor has attempted to repair the current one we have, but unfortunately it is non repairable. We will be installing a brand new upgraded LED fountain at the beginning of the New Year! However, we do have three other illuminating fountains plus two waterfalls that are currently operating. I would like to thank any readers for their time and consideration of these matters. Edward Rose and Trophy Club welcome any suggestions we receive, and strive to make every resident fully satisfied. We rent to everyone that is qualified and take pride in our wonderful community. Please feel free to email trophyclub@edwardroseapts.com in response to this posting.

I am the manager at Trophy Club and I am not sure what internet has to do with Trophy Club. We do not even provide internet. Verizon and Clearwire are those companies that are wired at Trophy Club. So, if you should have an issue with Verizon or Clearwire, I would strongly suggest you contact them. I have Verizon myself and can watch my weekly television shows without any interupptions and the speed is great. GO Verizon!!! We all know that the person who is negatively commenting on all of the positive comments for Trophy Club is the same person. That is no mystery. I am very sorry you are unhappy for not having your HD service. However, I personally know that our residents are very happy here, including myself. I could not ask for a better place to live and I have options to live anywhere I wish and even get paid more to live off-site. I would choose to live here anyday. The property is absolutely gorgeous and that is why we do not want any other provider/contractor digging wires in our landscaping. Also, this person (who is writing negative comments)can speak of people moving out but please know your facts. Let me give you some facts. Trophy Club has a higher occupancy than most of our competitiors. We do competition surveys every week and know all the facts, unlike this person's opionion of a place based on cable options. Please do not comment on other resident's positive comments because they love it here. I am sorry you are not happy, but I have went above and beyond to make you happy and obviously, it is not good enough. I strive to make the resident's time here happy and enjoyable and more importantly, I want to make sure that all residents feel like part of the TROPHY CLUB family. Again, I am sorry that this resident feels a different way, but a note to this resident: please do not infringe on others happiness.
