My husband, two children, and I just moved into these apartments last month, and I am very disappointed with them so far. From the outside appearance, you would think these are really nice apartments. They are located in a good area and seem safe, the MODEL looked nice, and the grounds seemed to be well kept. When we moved in everything seemed to be okay. Our apartment was totally more run down than the model, but the set up was the same. There is poor insulation around the doors and windows, so during cold weather, there is a draft. Everything was okay (with the exception of the trains)until our toilet started running after the first week of living here. We called the office, and maintanence came out promptly to fix the problem. Well a week later, our other toilet started to run. So, we called the office, and again maintenance came out promptly to fix it. So, another week later, and both toilets began to run. Maintanence again came out to fix them. Just last week, our toilets started running again, but I'm tired of calling maintenance, and they claim to fix the problem, but don't. Our patio door doesn't lock, so they gave us a piece of wood to prop the door closed.
I've never lived in an apartment where I've had to pay for water and sewer, so instead of your water bill being around 30 dollars, it will be around 70. I don't know if that will matter to you, but that is a real big issue for me when there are other apartment complexes that charge the same in rent and provide those utilities for free.
The residents here don't pick up after their dogs, so you have to watch wherever you walk. Our building is kind of noisy. The office staff is pretty nice. These apartments are okay. The location is great, but for the price, you can do better.

Kira21.....I've had the same problems you've had. Only both our toliets started running at the same time. For 4 months straight I was calling them every week to fix it and yet they ALWAYS began to run again. Finally the maintenance guy said it was something I was doing so I just went out and bout a new handle and fixed the crap myself. I wish they would come have come out that quickly on all 3 of our major leaks. Our building has been incredibly noisy as well. Our wonderful neighbors beneath us think that it's ok to play an electric guitar at 1am EVERYDAY! I've actually ruined a pair of flip flops thanks to the dog poo. I'm glad to see that we're not the only ones having the same problems.
