I wanted to live here because they buildings look nice and the model was pretty nice too. The good things are the parking (not assigned) and location (right across from a gas station, starbucks, food lion, blockbuster, bonefish grill, etc) and the office staff is very nice. BUT, they dont tell you about this, you end up finding out once you've already moved in, there is a very loud, noisy train that speeds by about 10-15 times each day (even during night time and early morning). It basically sounds like a stampede of MACK trucks is about to come crashing into your apartment and it shakes things like a mini earthquake. Also, I don't know if all the apartments are like this or if I was just a lucky winner but our apartment has a million broken things in it. My bedroom door wouldn't shut or lock, the dishwasher wasn't connected to anything and would almost fall down when trying to load it, my bathroom sink faucet has a piece hanging down from it, there is barelly any hot water so you take coldish warm showers, the kitchen sink leaked, the disposer was broken and didn't work, the dishwasher doesn't work well because all the dishes come out looking almost the same as it did when it went in and the dishes even smell bad. Basically everything is just old and broken. When we told the office about all this they were nice and said they'd send over the guy to fix it. This guy is built and thinks hes really goodlooking or something because he's sort of rude and you can tell that he doesn't really care. He fixed my sink and I asked him about my door and he made a face like "god why are you bugging me with this crap". Plus, when he tried to fix my sink he said "it wasn't like this when I did the inspection or when you guys moved in but I'll see if I can get some screws for it." Like as if I purposely stole the screws and broke it on purpose or something. That was about 3 weeks ago and I have yet to see him or hear back from him. This place is okay if you are okay with broken appliances and certain things not working well but if you arent patient and like things to actually work then I DO NOT recommend this place.
