I have been living at Auburn Chase for 11 months, having come up here from Florida. I did all preliminary renting online. Basically, I rented the place unseen. I requested a lower apartment and when I got here with a U-Haul full of my stuff, they tried to put me in an upper... I had already made arrangements for cable, electric and did the address change for the apartment I thought I was getting. So, I got here and the only lower wasn't ready yet. They let me put my stuff in the apartment in the middle of the floors, but I couldn't move in for a week.

They never finished the inside, although previous work was very shoddy: Poorly patched holes in the walls, holes punched in the interior doors that took 5 months to get repaired, mold in the bathroom and the closets. What a mess! I couldn't afford to move anywhere else at that time.

The worst was the blood from someone who was murdered in my apartment on the wall in the living room that they tried to cover with a coat of paint and 11 months later, it is still un-painted and I have pink blood spots bleeding through the paint on TWO walls. Not to mention it was 11 months before they put screens on the windows AND I had to contact the management company before they would even do that.

DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I could go on and on about the "ghetto" neighbors, the loud music, etc. I just know I will not be renewing my lease.
