Ridiculous

Our water heater broke twice, flooding the apartment below us. As a result, the wood in the floors soaked up with water and the -CONCRETE- started to break from the lack of support. They were basically pot holes about 2-3 inches deep and 4-6 inches across. One night, I actually tripped over one of those indents and my 3 month old had to be taken to the emergency room and had a huge gash as a result. The windows leaked around the edges and there was black mold on -every- window that the maintenance never fixed. Another problem was with my mailbox. The key was bent and the door was broke. In two years, neither one was fixed. The fridge stopped working during the first month and spoiled everything. It took 2 -MONTHS- to get a new fridge.
The maintenance people came in one day to replace the filters, and the gentleman's kid stomped on my cat's tail and the cat had to have surgery to replace the break and now has a crick in it's tail. The office took no responsibility for the medical bills.
The complex never told us we were in a potential flood zone. When a tropical storm came by, we had 8 inches of water. DON'T RENT BEHIND THE OFFICE!! EVERYTHING we had was ruined. And even though it took about a month for the water to drain, the office did not assist with finding us a temporary place, and we still had to pay our rent on time.
The washer/dryer unit never worked, and they never fixed or replaced it.
We had a bunch of navy as neighbors, and every friday and saturday night, they were drunk and playing extremely loud music with bass so loud, it could be heard from the furthest room in our apartments. We had to call the police several times because of how obnoxious and rowdy they were. They even caused damage to my vehicle with a bottle.
The grounds were terrible. Right by the office and entrance, it's beautiful, but everywhere else, there hadn't been any mowing ONCE since I moved in.

Your water heater broke flooding the apartment BELOW you. So how did you get flood waters in your apartment during a tropical storm if you live on the second floor?

I'm also confused, so which floor do you live on? Another comment to add to your "Ridiculous" posting... did you not see signs posted everywhere on property regarding parking during periods of rain? Do you think water is going to magically stop in the parking lot during a heavy rainstorm?
We've lived here since May this year, and I feel these rash comments are "ridiculous." Chelsea has been a great home for us.
