I'm nearing my lease expiration and have had a terrible experience with the Management. Every time I go to the office for something they have a new staff. When I first moved in everyone was dressed professionally and were very accomadating. Now when I see staff they're wearing flip flops and look a little trashy. Nobody is on the same page and everytime I ask a question I get a different answer. I am VERY nervous about moving out because they have been so wishy washy and shady. I moved in very quickly and it turns out half of the items that are supposed to be in my file AREN'T.

As far as living there it has been fairly positive... Compared to the properties around Chesapeake Bay (The Harbours and Kingstowne) it is the best pick, HOWEVER, for the amount you pay to live there you might as well live in City Center at Park Place. Chesapeake Bay's interior is very dated, and yes the amenities are nice and the grounds are lovely, but the inside is nothing special. The windows are poorly insulated and you can hear people outside as if they were in your living room.

I moved in when they were running a special that no one has seen since - $300 off monthly rent. My apartment is 486 sq. ft and it is now leasing for around $900!!! That is insane! I pay less than $600 and would NEVER pay more for such a tiny space. Yes, it's nice having a private entry and my own washer and dryer, but if you're going to be paying that much for a ONE bedroom go somewhere else.

The parking is really bad - they do not enforce it whatsoever. You do not have reserved spaces or decals or anything. So if you get home after 9 pm you have to park by the boats clear down by the fence.

Overall my feelings about the apartment are good, but for the price they're renting for now I wouldn't recommend them. You're not getting what you pay for and might as well have a mortgage instead of throwing your money away every month. My feelings for the Management are TERRIBLE and I am very scared of moving out because of horror stories I've heard from other tenants and people who used to work there.

totally accurate. this place is a rip off... they hook you in with their "specials" then they increase the rent by a ridiculous amount the following year- forcing you to move out. also, their appliances are so outdated they are constantly failing and it takes them weeks to repair anything. DON'T DO IT.
