We have lived at Concord Lake since August of 2006. The first year wasn't too bad. We had an elderly neighbor that we never even knew was there. The neighbor above us were loud coming in and out of the building but it was tolerable.
However the last year and a half has been the worst. Over the summer we came home to find my motorcycle pushed over in the parking lot. There was a cop just around the corner taking a report about a busted car window and apartment window. The old guy moved out and we got a young couple with 3 kids to move in next to us. The kids scream and cry half the night. When they go out of town they leave their alarm clocks on at full blast and they go off from 4:00am to 9:00am. The police came to their house three times in one week and twice on one night because they were fighting so bad. The slam there door so hard that pictures on our walls fall off. They have broken their door frame so it doesn't even slam right.
Management has gotten really bad. The seem to do nothing about all the things that have gone on around there. We have written letters with numorous complaints only to be ignored. Maintenance is a joke! You have to call them 50 billion times to fix one thing. We had an entry way light out for a year now. They half do the job and end up having to keep coming back over and over. Our drain constantly get clogged so I took it upon myself to get a line snake to clear them myself. Waiting on maintenance to get it right would take a few weeks.
Water has gotten really expensive there. We know we don't have any leaks but we're paying about $50.00 a month where before it was only about $20.00. The place is also poorly insulated. We always feel a draft of cold around our feet during the winter.
We're breaking our lease early to go somewhere better. While it will cost us a bit upfront, in the long run we'll be way ahead. I would avoid this place at all cost. There's too much crime, management is uncaring and maintainance is such a joke! vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
