Do not be fooled by the "model"/office. None of the apartments look like that!
I barely have a roof over my head here. The lack of maintenance care over the years has obviously taken a toll on the place. The hardwood floors are stained with paint and do not look like they have been treated in....maybe never. It is not shiny and has gaps in it. My ceiling unexpectedly started leaking in the dining room after 6 months, in a spot that appears to have been treated for leaks before. The ceiling in one bedroom has cracked and fallen to the floor, and the other bedrooms ceiling is cracking as well. I feel like the air conditioning could work better. If you wanted it to be below 76 degrees you have to give the unit a few hours in the middle of the day to 'recharge.' Water works fine, heat works fine.
It took them four months to finally come and fix my air conditioning, causing my husband and I to suffer May-August with no air. The only reason I did not report them is because we kept taking vacation trips and whenever we came back and I called to report the air still being broken they would tell me "Someone will be out today." As it currently stands my dishwasher has been broken for two weeks with standing water in the bottom. I have called so many times they know my apartment number and always seem shocked that no one has come out to fix it. But that's what happens when all the office does is write up a work order but does not follow up on it with maintenance.
I can't wait for our lease to be up. I'm going to move in to a cleaner, cheaper, all around nicer place to live. This place isn't worth half of the rent I'm paying to be here.

I also live at concord lakes. been about two years now. i recently gave them along list of stuff that needs to be fixed. I got the same answer you got. I hope they are reading this because i am about to call the local news and seriously report them. I don't think Great Atlantic will do anything. I also don't think we should be paying water for an old ass apartment complex. The management turnover is ridiculous. Just about all of the girls are rude. I can't wait to be moving the end of the year. But the problems going on in my apartment let alone everyone elses; need to be taken care of.

We stay in this s---- hole as well. We are now infested with bugs. They have lied to us more then a dozen times. It's just one headache after another. I can't wait for our lease to be up so we can finally get out of here. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER recommend a Great Atlantic Property to anybody.
