I just moved in to forest lake last month there were some issues with my a/c unit but they were taken care of the same day. I also wish there was more parking but i guess i'll deal with only 1 spot. I have to say that the girls in the office really helped my wife out when she arrived to move in at 5:30 the office was closing and the one girl stayed with us until after 6:30. The rent is expensive but I know newport news is pretty unsafe place to live ( Im from a small town) and if you want something reasonable you have to pay for it. overall so far i have enjoyed it here and been treated better than at my last apt in texas.
