Forest Lake at Oyster Point

I'm not 100% in love From: Wonderfully_Made Date posted: 3/12/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008 1 response   I've lived at Forest Lake since July of 2007. I agree with the person that said the water bill is too high. Not only that, but Virginia residents are billed every OTHER month but Forest Lake sends out a water bill every month. My sister lives in a house and her two month water bill is the same as what I am being charged for one month. For the first 6 months or so I had random leaks coming from the ceiling and underneath the carpet. Every time I turned around there was a wet spot in the carpet or coming from the ceiling but that is the extent of my maintenance issues. The "gated-community" is a joke because the gate is always broken. The visitor parking situation is horrible. I've had to drive my guests from their car to my apartment because guest spots are practically non-existent in the section that I live in. Personally, I think there are too many stray cats OR stupid people who let their cats rome the neighborhood all day...I don't know which. I guess no apartment complex is perfect. Forest Lake is better than some places that I've lived but they could be better.
