A lot of people seem pretty rough on Forest Lake. I lived there for a year (2007-08) and it was typical apartment living. I wonder how many people that write these reviews have just moved from the comfort of Mommy and Daddy's house to thier first apartment, because You can't honestly expect perfection of an apartment.

I had a few small issues. But each was taken seriously and mended quickly. If we had not decided to buy our home we would still be living there. The staff was always nice, and we were not charged any crazy fees. I'm not sure what move-out fees people are talking about... I cleaned my apartment and made sure the floors were vacuumed and we didn't get charged anything extra.

I will complain about the playground. It was not safe. I will agree with others that the gate was a joke. But we didn't have any noise problems (except on New Years Eve... imagine that)or any parking issues. We met some crazy neighbors, but no one You wouldn't expect in a apartment community.

All in all, I think You could find a nicer place to live. But I would (and have) recommend this place to anyone. In any apartment its the luck of the draw as to what apartment You get and who Your neighbors are... it's not just this place.

Actually this is not from the office, and I really did live there! I moved out of building 338 about a year ago. And if you re-read my post you'll see that I did have some problems, the were just fixed very promptly.

YEA THIS IS DEFINITELY FROM THE OFFICE IF U DIDNT HAVE MANY PROBLEMS U DIDNT REALLY LIVE HERE
