Me and my husband moved here at the end of November and cannot wait to move out. When we first moved in the office staff insisted that we fill out a form listing all the problems that we found with the apartment and have it turned in within 5 days and nothing has been fixed. The draft from the front door is an outrage. Our power bill is extremely high because the heat and air have to run all day to keep it somewhat comfortable in here. I have called the maintenance out here several times to fix sometimes the same things over and over again and they just put a little duct tape here and there to patch it up and then leave. We always get the same guy and he always smells of alcohol. Our front banister has been broken since we moved in with rusty nails sticking up out of it and I have small children who like to climb. They have yet to come out and fix it. The ladies in the office are always nice but that doesn't fix things around here.

Could not agree more! We selected this complex sight unseen over the internet because we were living outside the US and needed to find something suitable to live in until we could have our house built. First impression when we arrived was old property refurbished. The refurbishment was merely cosmetic, the structure was far from solid and energy efficient as you stated the drafts from door and windows was atrocious, resulting in larger than normal power bills. Our new house uses half the electricity for a home that is more than double the square footage. If we hadn't had police officers living in the complex, we would have broken the lease and moved somewhere else. You are lucky to use the pool (one was not open due to maintenance problems) two to three months out of the year. The floor in our unit had broken cement under the carpet which you could feel wobbling when stepped on. Maintenance guys cut the carpet in the area that was broken poured new concrete and reapplied the same piece of carpet and glued it down. The carpet had been superficially cleaned prior to moving in, but after a month, mildew stains began to appear throught he carpet pile. When we were ready to leave, we were told that we would have to pay to have the carpet professionally cleaned! The carpet needed to be replaced and they knew it would if they were going to rent the unit to someone else. Also the end of the lease was due on a weekend day and we paid themon Monday but we were billed with an additional months rent. I could go on about all the negative attributes of this place but I think the majority of the "true" comments related to the disadvantages of living here have been covered by others. Avoid this place at all costs!!!
