Where to begin''' The parking is horrible! You will only get one spot and if you have more cars then good luck because the Visitor spots are scarse. Many of the people that live here are trashy and loud! The area is not safe, there is an Inn Town Suites as soon as you turn in, and the people that stay there are nothing but trouble. The neighbors car was broken into! The gate is a wooden board that people break all the time so you can't really call it a gated comunity.. Maintenance does not fix things, they just cover them up, so most of the apartments are in poor condition. When we moved in there was water damage all over the bathroom floors and cabinets and our AC didn't work. There are BUGS EVERYWHERE. You can't chooose who you want for cable television, phone and internet. In the summer all our AC went to the people downstairs, and the hot air comes in through the windows that arent sealed properly so our power bills were outrageous. Previously my roommate and I lived in Jefferson Point and would recommend them over ForestLake anyday!!

All the bad reviews are here for a reason, read each and every one of them and still see if you consider moving here! The positive ones are either from the office staff to boost the rating, or people who haven't lived here long and are still excited about their new apartment. We have moved out of Forest Lake thank god, but I'm writing this review to help others from making the same bad choice we did!

I totally agree!! I used to live in apt 338-A, worst apartment experience in my life! House centipedes everywhere and I'm a clean-freak! Mold painted up behind the stove from water damage, etc! I hated this place. I moved in 2002-- sounds like things have not gotten any better!
