Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005

My husband and I moved in late summer of 2003. I had never lived in an apartment complex before but my husband had and he noticed a lot of problems. After complaining after a year about the floor in the kitchen coming up it was finally fixed. Our washing machine had to be replaced twice because the thing is a piece of crap. If you live in the townhomes, out back there is a concrete slab for a patio. There is no room for a table, chairs and to be able to move around them. It said in the books about the apartments that there is a clubhouse, however if you want to use it you need to move their storage of washers and dryers. We had(keyword: had) nice neighbors when we moved in but they left and now we have ones who have no respect for anyone and have loud music and domestics all the time to where the police have needed to be called. While the other one on the other side litters with her cigarette butts. The office has been told 4 times about this since Jan 2005 and nothing has been done. In July of last year our car was stolen,(doors were locked and windows up) and recently in the complex there was a home invasion/drug deal/murder gone bad. Yeah its a real friendly place, not. The front office people are nice, if they don't know you live there. If they do know, you are just an apartment. Also apparently if you have a newborn, and you lock yourself out accidentally in 20 degree weather, sucks to be you. I had to wait at a strangers apartment until a locksmith came and $53 dollars later. They refused to send maintence out for that. I feel that it was an emergency but I guess not. They don't tow vehicles in a timely manner either. I had to walk across the parking lot when I was 9 mo pregnant because someone who doens't live there parked in our space reserved for our apartment. The amount of rent for the place for military is the best I have seen. But the quality has gotten bad since we have been here had we are moving. If you have children, not the best place. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
