Thank God that we are moving out this weekend, after 2 years renting here. The office staff was very friendly when we were signing our lease - now, not so much. The maintenance staff is very friendly and responsive. But as far as I'm concerned, replace the crappy 20-year appliances instead of repairing them 20 times!!!! When we moved in, our carpet was gross. They "cleaned it" before we moved in, but it was crusty and gross - should have been replaced. Then the lady upstairs had a leaky AC unit - twice - it stained our ceiling (which they were supposed to fix/paint, but never did) and wet the carpet - they let it dry. Then our hot water heater broke, SOAKING the carpet. I BEGGED them to replace my carpet - at least in the living room where it had gotten wet 3 times. Nope. They sent in a carpet cleaning company, who proceeded to cut the carpet and stick a big noisy industrial fan to blow under the carpet to dry it. It had to be on all weekend long (while we had guests), and it did nothing but blow dust, mold and pet hair into the air, making it impossible for me (an asthmatic) to breathe in my own apartment.

Parking - nothing like walking a half mile when you have to carry groceries. Dog poop - freaking everywhere!!! Lazy people refuse to pick up their dog poop - it drives me nuts!!

Finally, they claim that level 3 sex offenders are not allowed to live in the complex. I have found 2 - and have to notify the office (they apparently do not check hard enough).

I will miss the pool - and Hooters across the street. Thats about it! See ya Spring House!!!!!!!!!!!!!
