Wouldn't Live Here Again.

My roommate and I were extremely lucky because we never had any bug problems, and that is a bit of a rarity from what I hear from other residents. We did however have a mold problem, as well as some others. When you first move into the apartment, you have to sign a document saying there is no mold in the apartment. We had no problem doing so because after close inspection we could not find any. Come to find out, the time period in which you have to sign the document is shorter than the time it takes mold to grow back after a thorough cleaning job. About a month into living there, we had black mold growing in the bathroom, and falling from the vents. It's in the entire air system!!! We also had our porch flood numerous times and when we requested a pump (since they told us this happens a lot with lower level apartments) they told us they did not have one. We had to bale water so our entire apartment would not flood. Even so, water managed to get in under the foundation and our carpets had to be washed and dried because the storms SOAKED them. Also, within the year of living there, no one came to change our air filter and when we called to ask they said they had already made their rounds. We put in multiple work orders over the year, and they always seemed to get "lost". The people are friendly, and I find the complex to be very safe, but I would not live here again. Upon moving out, amazingly I no longer had severe allergies, which makes sense because I'm horribly allergic to mold.
