We moved here about 6 months ago...and I love it. The staff is friendly, the grounds are well kept and beautiful. We have a nice 2 bedroom apt w/ a sunroom and fireplace, it also comes with alot of storage space which is great!!! The complex is centrally located in Newport News and is right across the street from city center and right next to port warwick. It is a quiet community, we never hear our neighbors. There is plenty of parking. I have had to call maintenance and they have responded very quickly to fix the two minor issues we had. There is a nice walking trail around the complex. We are only here for 9 months and I hope that our next complex can measure up to this. We will definitley miss it and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to live.

Are you crazy? This place is a shi* hole! There is dog poop ALL over the grounds and it's just a bunch of people who like to work on their "big rim" cars with the music playing all loud. The Harbours CAN'T keep residents! We are friends with the police officer of the complex and you wouldn't believe the stories we hear! We hear gun shots all the time at night... The units are old, outdated and dirty. Maintenance will randomly come in your apartment and the office will deny it, of course. I think people are delusional if they think this place it nice. My lease is up next week... THANK GOD! Best of luck to you though... this place is perfect if your use to the ghetto.

Definitely a dump! I too have lived here for quite a few years, constantly on a downhill. Ignorant people driving way too fast around the complex while children are playing near and close by. Its just a matter of time before someone gets hit. For the first 6months the community maintenance and managers seem nice, but it all changes. Just give it time, you will see how horrible this place is. Especially when someone starts shooting right outside your building in the middle of the night. Keep that bullet proof vest on. thats all i can say. GOOD LUCK!
