It had some problems

My family and I lived here for a year while waiting for base housing. It was great that it was so close to the base. The pool was nice and we never found it to be overcrowded. Maintenance responded quickly for smaller issues.
The problems we had were:
AC never worked properly which had our electric bill over 200 a month. After many calls, they did finally have an outside heating/air company come out. He told me the unit will never work right because it was way too small for the apartment.
Apartments were very small for more than 2 people and the walls are very thin. We could hear entire conversations of our neighbors.
When we returned from vacation, we were told by several neighbors that SWAT was outside the entrance to our building with guns drawn on someone. I didn't exactly feel safe after that.
The manager Linda that was there when we started was great!! Once she left and the new manager came in, things changed. On my move-out she actually told me that I would have to pay to replace the vinyl flooring because it didn't match the carpet! She finally decided to not charge me.
Overall, if you're looking for something short term close to base, go for it! Long term, look elsewhere

Ownership/Management changed November 2004 to Berkshire Property Property Advisors - a very reputable national management company. Quite a few changes have been made.
