Low quality

This is a very low quality apartment complex. We moved into The Trellis when I was getting out of the military, and needed something temporary. We ended up choosing this place only for the fact that we would have a washer and dryer hook up. Since moving in, almost everything has needed to be repaired or replaced: air conditioner, garbage disposal, water heater, small cabinet knobs, etc. When the water heater, which is under the kitchen cabinet went out, it flooded the entire kitchen, dining room, and living room. because everything is made out of particle board, all of the cabinets and everything that was wet, are now crumbling apart. All of our drains in the sinks are very slow. Neither of the bedrooms have lighting. I really didn't notice when first looking at the place, but I would have never expected to not have lighting in place. The apartment is also very small for a 2 bedroom, and we still have most of our things still packed up in boxes, just to save space.

On a positive note, even though everything has needed to be repaired, the maintenance crew has always been pretty quick to respond, and the management are friendly.

They have just replaced the roof, but they hired what appeared to be the lowest bidder for the project and used the same particle board that the kitchen cabinets are made out of. There are still roofing nails and garbage laying everywhere, many weeks after the roofers have moved on to the next building. All of this tells me that they don't care about using quality equipment and are not thinking long term about the complex.

The rent is much higher than the quality. Look at other apartments in the area for a better deal.
This would be a good first apartment for a young person, or couple just starting out.
