this is a horrible place to live. they give you no choice about things like spraying for bugs. they simply inform you 24 hours before an exterminator comes that you have to empty all your cabinets so they can spray or bait (which, by the way killed one of our guinea pigs!) and i hadn't seen a single pest until they sprayed. now i've personally seen at least 5 cockroaches and my roommates have seen more. the walls, floors and ceilings are thin enough that i can hear my neighbors above us, below us, across the hall, and across the hall downstairs. there was inadequate parking when we arrived, but it was tolerable. then (in an effort to make it better) they numbered half the spots, giving each apartment only 1 space. so if there is more than 1 car in a household (which there usually is) the other person has to find an unnumbered spot. frequently, if you come home past 8pm, you are forced to park next to the pool even if you live in the back of the complex and sometimes there isn't even a spot in the complex! then there's the towing company. they hired some company from a town 20 minutes away, even though there are companies in the area. the trucks are loud and they park outside our bedroom and it wakes us up. they are extremely rude to residents and at one point, one of my roommates even saw them GET INTO SOMEONE'S CAR!!! we talked to the complex about it. nothing has been done. when i talked to them myself, they tried to tell me it was heresay, which infuriates me even more! don't ignore a problem and when i bring it up to you, lie to me about it and try to tell me nothing happened when i know for a fact that it did. i called the corporate office about everything. nothing has been done and they have not returned my call after at least 2 weeks. when our garbage disposal broke, they had to come twice to fix it and the second time they actually left a note that said (and this is a direct quote) "Don't put food down the garbage disposal." if we're not supposed to put food down it, what's it there for''' everyone has been complaining to the complex about it and nothing has been done to remedy the situation. this seems to be mostly due to the staff in the main office. most of them are young, inexperienced and generally have no idea what's going on and you rarely get to speak to the person who does have a clue. all of that being said, for the amount we are paying, this place is considerably overpriced for what you're getting.
