Well I read some of these reviews before moving into Waverton and figured the percentage of complaints was fair considering how many people live here. MY MISTAKE. Sure some of the reviews seem a little disjointed however these people are mad/upset/fed up and for good reason. I have been renting for many, many years and I have never been so disgusted with the service I have received from management. I am their customer and do not deserve attitude when I call to request a repair or report a problem. Office staff is either older and never 'available' or young and completely incompetant and full of attitude. From day one of application (told it would take seven days to approve, it took six weeks, multiple phone calls and finally a call from a friend in the 'industry' before we got an answer), to the money to be paid up front (overcharged, picked up when balancing check book, never got an apology)to the infraction notice for non patio stuff being on the patio (a bike, nevermind the 23 others I counted (I was mad, yes I counted) on other peoples that are still there six weeks later), to the ridiculous amount of time it takes maintenance to get to your apartment to fix a problem (fridge and freezer not working for two days, lost all of our food), and I had to call them back a second time for the same problem. They employ a tow truck company that is a "repo" company and likes to swear at you and then hang up on you when you tell them you are not paying a fine because the sticker is on the truck and suggest they check with a torch before towing your truck at 2am. Don't bother leaving a message at the office, or even sending a follow up email when there phone is switched to message bank for hours at a time, they won't call you back. I waited three days (non emergency message) before I finally went down to see them myself. This has happened three seperate times in the last six months. How many times can an email server and answering machine be broken' There has been siding hanging off of two buildings that I can see from my patio for months now. I guess they will finally fix it when it falls on someones head and a lawsuit is filed. I have spoken to five seperate neighbours and they all say the same things that I am saying however they cannot afford to break there lease... I can. I could go on forever about the disgusting service you will receive from Waverton Place Impressions, however I will leave you with two things. 1. PLEASE beleive me, and all the others on here when they/I tell you that it is not worth moving here. No matter how 'nice' or 'helpful' they seem when you come in for the first time it is a false impression. 2. I have broken our lease early. Yes, I have to pay our rent until our lease is up however I simply do not care anymore. Nothing is worth the hell I have been through since moving here. Want peace of mind' Go somewhere else.
