When we moved into this apartment complex, nothing had been cleaned. There was no screen door on the patio door--it was always on back order. A window was broken, and was never fixed. Cigarette burns scarred every counter in the apartment. There was a hole in the bathroom wall--again, never fixed.

The parking lots were nasty and full of trash. Gutters were broken, so that water would fall onto our patio. Drainage was so bad that water would form a small pond at the bottom of our steps. The neighbors were loud, and we could usually smell "special" smells coming from their apartments.

The office staff was rude and dismissive. When paying our rent, we actually heard one young woman gossiping on the phone to a friend about the tenants. When notified of a snake under our stove--on the second floor--nothing was done. Ever.

I would advise everyone to stay away from this apartment complex. We came from across the country at the last minute and became stuck there. Don't let that happen to you. After we had driven across the country and as we were getting ready to sign the lease, we were told that they had to switch our apartment at the last minute. And we were never shown the apartment beforehand. This is an obvious ploy, because they know most people would never sign the lease if they see the apartment first. But, as I said, we were in a bind.
