I reloacted from Pennsylvania to Virginia in 2006, Woodscape was the only apartment complex that would let us move in without proof of Virginia income. That should have been my first clue that this was not a good place to live. I moved in August during a tropical storm, the girl from the leasing office called my cell phone to tell me that she was going home to be with her son, that she was going to tape my key to the door. When I arrive at the apartment there is no key anywhere. Finally I find the key under their welcome mat. When I entered my apartment they ac was blasting I was soaked with no dry clothes to change into. The dryer caught on fire from me trying to dry my clothes. It took 3 weeks for them to replace the washer dryer unit. They ruined the carpet when it was replaced. Never notified me that they were comming I was in the shower when I heard voices in the hallway right next to the bathroom. They have had many different maintence people. They have also had several office staff. When I moved in there was feces in my toilet and urine in my tub. I work the afternoon, and when I come home there is no where to park, I get home at 1:00am and have to walk while talking on my cell just for safety purposes. I can hear my neighbors all around me. My biggest complaint is when they offer to renew your lease at the same rate if you renew early....then when you go to sign your lease you notice a different price and the girl in the office said that the price listed on the lease would have been what I would have paid if I did not renew early. Then low and behold 6 months into the new lease you get an failure to pay your rent taped to your door. I could go on and on with stories. In summary dont rent from here living in your car would be better than this place.

Why did you renew? Why didn't you pay your rent into the courts and fight your fight fairly?

wow i am so suprised at the lies people will make up......i worked in that office for several years and i can gurantee you 90% of all the crap the writer wrote is a big fat lie sounds like someone didnt pay there rent on time ........alot
