The 1 bedrooms have great space, only the granby st. side is noisy, so try to get one facing boush st. Tried to move into a 2 bedroom but found out that there are no external windows in some of the rooms. The larger rooms with a bathroom has a window in the corner of the room looking out to the external window. People don't be fooled by what the property manger tried to tell you because these apts. are not legal 2 bedrooms. I called the zoning commission and was told that they were not considered 2 bedroom apts. by law. I also called consumer affairs because they handle tenant/landlord questions and issues and was told the same. If you still want one of those apts. make sure they don't charge you 2 bedroom rent. If you want confirmation call for yourself and ask for an inspector to come look at the apt.
On another note, make sure you get the property manager to write down anything she agrees to because she is so scattered and unprofessional at times, she will say things on the top of her and will not remember it later (an example, she quoted a cheaper rent, but a few days later quoted a higher rent - had to press her that she said a different rent). Make sure she stays professional when doing business with her.
