The one good thing is that we have had some credit problems and they were more lenient than any of the other apartment complexes. The amount we pay for the rent, however, is not great considering there are little amenities. The windows are the originals and they have no insulation, so you use up so much energy trying to stay cool or warm. We usually just tape up the windows.

There are roaches, we finally got them spraying at least every 6 months. I did notice (like the last poster) if someone moves out, there they come to your place! The upstairs apartment had a water heater burst, matter of fact there were 4 apartments in the same weekend that burst and it leaked into our apartment, we still don't have the new padding down. Maintenance is pretty good about fixing things though.

There are inconsiderate neighbors that blast music and then leave their empty beer bottles on the sidewalks, but for the most part we have a good clean up crew. U can smell people smoking (whatever they smoke) in their apartments and you can normally hear the people above and below you. I knew when my upstairs neighbor's phone rang and when they were having fights.

Never had the issue with any violence, that I have heard or know of. They are not lenient on the days you may pay rent. Most places give you until the 5th, this is strict and you have to have it by the morning of the 2nd...they will tow your car quickly and even if you have a visitor parked in the 'visitor' spaces, you have to have a pass hanging or else it will get taken!

The walk in closet isn't that great and it sucks that it has the water heater so that takes up some space. The paint is cheap, so I can't even wipe my walls without it peeling on me and everything is just so outdated. There is a roach replacement reminder sticker from 1985!

It would be great if things were just updated. I would only recommend if you are new to the area and trying to transition or your credit gets you nowhere else.
