Moving to Arcadia Square Apartments would be possibly THE WORST choice you could make! Please don't do it. Yes, I have been here for 4 years but that is because I am a single mother and a student and never had the money to move. When I moved in, I thought it was the greatest thing ever because my rent was $547 but it is now $725. I would not have had a problem with that if the owners were spending ANY money on the units. But all they pay is water and trash. And with trash, the owners won't pay for weekend pick-up so the trash stays there all weekend and gets full by Sunday so that you have nowhere to out your trash!And as far as throwing out a mattress or a piece of furniture, they charge you $150-300 to throw it IN THE DUMPSTER! This is because they don't pay waste management the small fee they would have to add for bulk disposal. These people are a bunch of crooks!
They had a super-old hose on the back of my washer and one day it broke! My apartment flooded 3inches. Let me tell you, they did not replace my carpet! And mind you, this carpet was FILTHY when I moved in and I had to pay $300 to get it scrubbed and was not reimbursed. But no, they didn't replace my carpet, just the padding underneath and put giant fans to dry it out. Any time my carpet gets wet, my house smells.
They have NEVER done 1 piece of maintenance unless it was costing them, like a leaky faucet. No painting. No nothing. The parking situation is horrendous. I love God, but this place is hell on Earth. I am outta here in a month. I can't wait!
