Understanding that most people only write these reviews when they are dissatisfied, I would like to offer this complex as acceptable-living. I have lived here almost a year now and the best thing I can say is that it is definitely worth the price. If you want better parking and better construction, pay more money. At $565 for a one bedroom it was the best deal I could find.

I did have my car towed when there was no parking in my lot or on the street, but I blame Virginia Realty for not posting their Property Control on the Jack's Towing signs. I have probably lost about $20 total due to the laundry machines taking my money, but they recently got new Washers and Dryers. My neighbors are noisy, but I have never minded enough to complain; I just figure that is a part of apartment living. Tenants like to party in my parking lot with their friends, but they have never been anything but cordial when I pass them. I have seen many cars vandalized and broken in to (I had a stray egg hit my car once), but I can only blame human nature and the area, not the property managers. There is an occasional trash problem with tenants who are too lazy to throw away their garbage in the proper receptacles, but I see staff and tenants alike picking up after these people.

The property managers are very hospitable, never rude or condescending, and have been very willing to work with me when I need it. Utilities usally run about $50 for electricity and $25 for water. There are no other utility costs. I am moving out soon, but not due to dissatisfaction, only due to preferred location and space. This place has been well-worth my money and I would recommend it for its price. If you like being within walking distance to the beach and a golf course, go for it.
