I moved into Bay Breeze in June of 2000 on the promise of renovations. I?m still waiting. Bay Breeze is old and falling apart. The pidgeons have taken over most attics because they refuse to have the roof fixed. After living there a year, I was fined $25 for my white mini-blinds not being white. It took me over a month to resolve the issue. Meanwhile the grout in the shower was steadily falling out, and the support wall was getting wet. I reported this to management every month from 06/01 to 09/01. Finally in 09/01 the wall broke. We had a huge hole in our shower from 09/01 to 11/01. Management did NOTHING but come out and remove the card board and Saran wrap I had put in the hole to minimize the water leaking into the downstairs apt. They finally cemented a piece of exterior laminate to the remaing tiles to "plug" the hole from water leaks when a new resident was taking the downstairs apt. The city building inspector looked at the property for building permits in 12/01 and advised the management to fix my shower in 30 days. Its now 05/02 and it still is not fixed. In Nov 01, the noisest human on earth moved downstairs from us. Right off the bat I complained to management. They didn't care. When we would try to complain to the neighbor, he refused to come to the door. Eventually, the black property manager told me if my downstairs neighbor was white (as I am) and blasting rock music, I wouldn't complain. Which is total crap because I had neighbors who used to blast my favorite radio station that I complained about. Eventually calling the police was the only thing to be done. However, the police won't come out during the day time, which is when my fiancee was trying to sleep because he works at night. When I complained about the blatant drug dealing in front of me, the managers attitude was "So'" Then when I called the police to get the smell of pot to stop, the manager got mad at me. If the drug dealing wasn't bad enough, opening your window to find a homicide victim on your sidewalk is worse. If you want noise, drug dealing, raw sewage on the ground, parking problems, broken windows, doors that leak air, a sky high power bill because of the doors and windows leaking air, overgrown bushes, a broken laundry room, dumpsters that never get emptied, and the police at your door every 10 minutes, than this place is for you.

But if you want to live some place quiet with no drugs, don?t waste your time by even going by there. They will lie and tell you they are renovating. They aren?t, they are just cleaning up the broken glass from the shootings. Please email me lelandmm@yahoo.com if you are considering moving there.
