I lived in Beechwood for nine years five years ago and the complex has always been family oriented. You are not going to find a kept up or centrally locationed apt community in Norfolk like Beechwood. I know some of you current residents may not be happy with the thin walls, but contractors don't spend loads of money for sound-proofing when building structures like apartments. If anything some of the other residents out there are just not use to having anything so they go crazy and sometimes have no respect (mainly the military residents). Overall, I think Beechwood is one of the best kept apt. communities in Norfolk and Beechwood has been home to some current since 1984 when it was first built.
