Be wary

I've lived at Breezy Point for about 9 months, I would only recommend it to other sailors on a tight budget looking for a location very close to the Naval Station. The carpet is disgusting, should have been replaced years ago; the linoleum in the kitchen is pretty bad. Pest control is pitiful,I'm not a slob by any means and my apartment has been sprayed 2 times in the last month and still has bugs. Parking is good for 1 bdrm, just make sure you have EVERY sticker, permit, inspection etc. or you will be towed on a daily basis until it is "up to standards". Also, there is one washer and dryer for every 6 apartments - the washer in my building has been broken for 3 months and I've complained several times to no avail. It's quite a noisy place, the tow trucks patrol the premises 24 hours a day looking for cars where guest passes have fallen from the rearview mirror; all loud yard work is done at the crack of dawn, and the workers from the cable company and electric company make all kinds of racket (including leaving their truck door open- blocking the road, and blaring the radio so loud it woke me up- I live on the THIRD floor). If you're looking for a roof over your head, and not much else - this is the place for you. It's not too bad, but if you can afford something better - look elsewhere.
