Overall, not too bad

Overall, I'm pleased with this location. There are some faults, although the management is working towards correcting them. I've been in the apartment for five months now, and seen both the highs and the lows. Having moved from an apartment complex in Virginia Beach that made absolutely no attempt to maintain the location, this is a nice change. The grounds are reasonably well-kept, and kept looking pretty nice. The townhouse is spacious, seemingly moreso than it actually is because it is two stories. Our previous apartment was actually larger, but because it was all on one story, seemed more confined. The floorplan is pretty open, and there are enough outlets along the walls. The parquet floors are a nice touch -- I have to say, I'm a big fan of them. While they weren't in the best condition upon move-in, a little Murphy's made all the difference. The walls between units are thick, which keeps the noise down between the neighbors. They're not perfect, and sometimes I can still hear my neighbors (they're very noisy), but it's a far cry from some of the paper-thin walls I've encountered elsewhere. There are two dedicated parking spots per unit: one in front, and one more in back. If you have more than two cars, other parking must be on side-streets, which is a nice feature -- it means there's never a long walk in the rain to my front door.
