I have lived here for a year and have never had any issues with Nadine or Carla. The few times I have had to talk to them, they were nice and helpful. I do agree that it's not too smart to wander around in the parking lot at night, but hey, if you live anywhere around downtown Norfolk, that's to be expected. I've never had an issue with parking after I started parking in the side lots. The river does flood horribly, so the side lots are not a good idea during big rain storms, but there is usually street parking in the neighborhoods behind the building where people park when the water is high. I am a single female student and can definitely say that I would recommend Lafayette to other people. I love the location and the fact that I am so close to school and downtown. No complaints from me!

I would definitely NOT recommend Lafyette Towers to anyone in search of an apartment. I have experienced nothing but utter disrespect and negative demeanors when working with this complex. I was in search of an apartment and Lafyette towers was number one on my list because of the facility appearance and cost. After applying and submitting paperwork, the pleasant professional attitude of the staff turned in to a rude condescending one. The office manager Nadine, went from pure eager to assist to pure disrepsectful and contradictory. For the money, there are similar complexes in the area with much more respectful and professional office staff.
