WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN' APPLYING TO THIS PLACE WAS PROBABLY THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE. FROM THE APPLICATION PROCESS TO THE MOVE-OUT, IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, TO THE POINT THAT IT DISGUST ME. I WONT EVEN TOUCH ON THE FACT THAT THE APARTMENTS ARE SO CHEAPLY MADE, THAT YOU CANNOT EVEN HANG PICTURES ON THE WALL LET ALONE HAVE 5 MINUTES OF PRIVACY. THE STAFF WAS NOT AT ALL HELPFUL, NICE, CONCERNED, NOR FRIENDLY. I HAVE NEVER MET A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT WERE SO UNPLEASANT TO BE AROUND. FROM DAY 1 I HAVE HAD AN INSECT PROBLEM, FROM FLIES TO ROACHES, AND AFTER 1 ENTIRE YEAR OF COMPLAINING IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED, NOR HAS ANYONE EVEN ATTEMPTED TO FIX IT. THERE ARE EXTREMELY TO MANY RESTRICTIONS. FROM PARKING TO THE 3X3 FENCED IN AREA THAT THEY CALL A "PATIO WITH A BEAUTIFUL VIEW, TO THE TYPE OF CURTAINS YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HANG. THEY ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING THAT YOU DO "WRONG" AND IS AGAINST POLICY i.e. "RESTRICTIONS" THAT ARE NOT ANNOTATED IN THE LEASE, BUT BEFORE TELLING YOU, WARNING YOU, OR EVEN GIVING YOU THE COMMON COURTESY OF LETTING SOMEONE KNOW THAT WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING...IS IN FACT "WRONG" THEY JUST "CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT". WHEN I GAVE MY NOTICE THAT I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY LEASE, THEY START REVEALING ALL OF THESE FINES THAT DATED BACK MONTHS, BECAUSE OF RULES THAT I HAD BROKEN!!! YET THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHEN I BROKE THE RULES, NOR COULD THEY ASK ME TO STOP, THEY ONLY LET ME CONTINUE TO DO IT, SO THEY IN TURN COULD GET MORE MONEY OUT OF ME. THERE ARE AT LEAST 15 PARKING SPOTS IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE BUT I CAN UTILIZE ABOUT 3 OF THEM. THEREFORE I HAVE TO PARK IN A PARKING LOT THAT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO MY HOUSE. AT ANY POINT IN THE NIGHT, THERE ARE LARGE CROWDS OF PEOPLE, PARTYING, DRINKING, SMOKING, SCREAMING, PLAYING LOUD MUSIC ETC ETC. AND NOTHING IS EVER DONE ABOUT THAT, YET I HAVE TO REQUEST PERMISSION TO HANG CURTAINS/BLINDS IN MY OWN APARTMENT THAT I PAY FOR EVERY MONTH' SOMETHING JUST ISNT RIGHT THERE!! KEEP IN MIND I WAS NEVER DISTRUCTIVE, NOR DID I EVER INTEND TO BREAK ANY RULES. ON TO ANOTHER THING... THESE "ROUTINE INSPECTIONS" THAT YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT UNTIL THEY ARE ALREADY DONE ARE A JOKE AND REDICULOUS. THEY ARE SO CAUGHT UP ON INCOME DURING THE APPLICATION THAT THEY OVERLOOK EVERYTHING ELSE. ANOTHER PROVEN POINT THAT THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF SCREENING THE APPLICANT FOR OTHER THINGS BESIDES MONEY ISSUES'''' THE FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS OF THIS PLACE ARE OVERWHELMING. "GATED ACCESS"'' ANYONE CAN PULL UP TO THE GATE AND IT WILL OPEN!! SWIMMING POOL''' YOU HAVE TO REQUEST A PASS 2 DAYS IN ADVANCE FROM THE RENTAL OFFICE. HOW DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE WEATHER IS GOING TO BE GOOD OR IF THEY EVEN FEEL LIKE SWIMMING 2 DAYS IN ADVANCE' LET ALONE THE 1 IN 50 CHANCE OF THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE BEING OPEN WHEN YOU GO BY TO GET A PASS. "CLEAN AREA" YEAH, OK MAYBE INSIDE THE LEASING OFFICE ITSELF! "BLOCKS FROM THE BEACH" WHAT KIND OF BLOCKS THEY ARE REFERING TO I AM STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT! "FENCED IN PATIO WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEW" HAHAHA WHAT A JOKE!!! "NICE FRIENDLY STAFF" I WONT EVEN GO THERE!!! FOR HEAVENS SAKE PLEASE DONT INVITE FAMILY TO COME VISIT, BECAUSE IF THEY STAY LONGER THAN A WEEK, THEN THEY ARE CONSIDERED "RESIDENTS" AND THAT IS A "BREACH IN CONTRACT" THEREFORE RESULTING IN ANOTHER FINE!! PLEASE DONT BE "5" DAYS LATE ON YOUR RENT FOR SOME ODD REASON, BECAUSE NOT ONLY WILL YOU GET AN ENVICTION NOTICE BUT YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO PAY AN OUTRAGEOUS FIND, ALMOST TOTALING ANOTHER MONTHS RENT. IN ALL HONESTLY IT FELT LIKE I WAS BEING STALKED BUT BY NO MEANS NEVER RELY ON THE SO CALLED "SECURITY" AT THAT PLACE. DUE TO MILITARY ISSUES I WAS UNABLE TO COME HOME FOR A PERIOD OF ABOUT 2 MONTHS. DURING THAT 2 MONTHS MY HOME WAS BROKEN INTO AND TRASHED. MY DOOR WAS LEFT WIDE OPEN FOR 3 WEEKS STRAIGHT AND NEVER ONCE DID THEY TRY TO CONTACT ME...NOTHING!!!! I BECAME SO DISGUSTED WITH THAT PLACE THAT I MOVED OUT 3 MONTHS EARLY AND TO AVOID ANY CONTROVERSY I CONTINUED TO PAY MY RENT. COME TO FIND OUT MY HOME WAS BROKEN INTO AGAIN, THIS TIME THEY COMPLETELY BROKE DOWN THE DOOR, DESTROYED THE WALLS ETC. I CALL NUMEROUS TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES BUT NEVER ONCE WAS I CALLED BACK, NOR CONTACTED VIA EMAIL, FAX, MAIL, TELEPHONE, NOTHING. IT CAME DOWN TO MY MOVE OUT DATE, AND THEN THEY BECOME ALL CONCERENED ABOUT THE DAMAGE, BUT COME TO FIND OUT THAT SINCE THE APARTMENT IS NO LONGER IN MY POSSESSION THEY CAN CHARGE WHATEVER THEY WANT, ONCE AGAIN PROVING THAT THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. I COULD GO ON FOR DAYS ABOUT THIS PLACE. PLEASE DO NOT GET CONFUSED WITH THE INITITAL IMPRESSION (FROM THE LOOKS OF IT ETC.) MY SHORT STAY AT MARINERS WATCH TOWNHOMES WAS DISGUSTING, IRRITATING, FRUSTRATING, VERY UNPLEASANT AND ALL AND ALL IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. PLEASE TAKE IT FROM ME, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY, THIS COMPLEX AND ITS STAFF WILL DO EVERYTHING IN ITS POWER TO DESTROY YOUR CREDIT AND YOUR LEASING HISTORY....LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!!
