I liked the apartments themselves--they were spacious and have great window sills. I moved out because of safety concerns. People were being mugged and there was a lot more vandalism all of a sudden. I never really felt safe there. I moved out when they went to a month to month lease. Because there is not central air I could never keep the apartment clean (having windows open) and it was hell for my allergies. I had a lot of trouble getting my security deposit back when I moved out. The place was spotless, but they nickled and dimed me on things that had been broken to begin with. There was a window damaged during Hurrican Isabel that they never fixed and tried to charge me for. They were unpleasant to deal with.

I agree...I lived there from Apr 08 to Apr 09...and it was terrible....they took forever to fix my shower knob and my kitchen drawer...when my neighbors from across the hall moved out the roaches moved in...i complained at least 4 different times and they did come spray but it didn't help...it was a constant draft in the apartment and the walls were paper thin...and my neighbors were loud as heck!!! I wouldn't recommend it if you have a family but if you're single and money is tight then you can try it but you have been warned :)
