I have lived in Talbot for the last year-and needless to say I am not renewing my lease. The parking is horrible and my car was broken into. Needless to say being down the street from the ghetto really doesn't help either with the neighborhood being open to the public. The layout of the apartment is decent but the kitchen is small and the bathroom is ugly. I had a slight problem with silverfish that didn't seem to want to show up until the spray people left a note that they were spraying for them. The pipes were old and the knobs on the shower came off. The walls begin to crack on their own because the building is so old. Overall, the noise level is ok-depending if you have guests that love to argue and shot. Not the best place to live, and I realize that I hate paying more for my rent then I am getting in square footage. Most maintanence problems are solved efficiently, but I would definitely suggest that you find somewhere else to live.
