i advise everybody not even thinking of living here, place is not safe, and its very dirty complex, roaches all over", it takes forever for the maintnance to come fix something,. if you like to live in nofolk there many places a way better and cleanier..

This is ridiculous. I lived at University Apartments from July 2007 until July 2008 and read reviews that said the same crap before I used my own judgement after seeing the property and decided to move in. I absolutely loved it there. The grounds are immaculately kept, the landscaping is beautiful and staff cleans the public areas in the buildings regularly. My apartment was spotlessly clean for the entire year that I lived at UA, and I never saw a roach or a waterbug. The people who complain about roaches are the slobs who leave food and dirty dishes out, don't keep their kitchens clean and let their bathrooms get nasty. You people need to take responsibility for your own cleanliness and stop blaming the apartment complex. The roaches will follow you no matter where you move. As far as maintenance goes, I had absolutely no problem with them, my issues were resolved quickly and courteously. Try being nice. When you treat the staff like crap and cop an attitude when you call them, you're going to get the worst service... which is true of any business.
