WORST MISTAKE I COULD HAVE MADE!

First off when I first moved into this place, there were still repairs that needed to be fixed and when I say my initial move in check list that the rental office gave me was full, meaning no more room to write any more issue...I am being real honest. I'm not here to bash the apartments too bad, because I have made mines work the best way possible for this next year "God Willing." I do feel that before they rush people into these apartments knowing the apartments are already old and need work they should have them really inspected to make sure they are up to par, the same way "they" would except an apartment complex to have their apartment for move in time/ not rushing to repair your things while your already in the place.

My window seals were dirty as heck; screens don t fit in the windows (2 months in this place and I am still battling with them over those). My first day moving in I was greeted by ---- roaches in almost every room in that apartment... I set there and thought what the heck have I gotten myself into' The kicker is the hall way, it smells so bad it makes me gag (its getting better I must say due to me complaining every single day). However, they never send people out to clean the hallways, they remain dirty, stinky, mildew/mold you can see growing and honestly my hall is infested with fruit flies & gnats all over and they are flying right into my place tremendously. I am embarrassed to bring guess over (seriously), because I have never leaved in such dwellings and who should no matter how much the rent is a month.

The office staff acts as if they are interested in my concerns for that slum a$$ apartment building, but really they make you feel as if you are nagging them ( like all those dog on fruit flies and gnats do me when they get in my apartment everyday and night). Oh my goodness and the so-called repairing jobs they do in my apartment is just bogus -- half a$$ done, basically that s about everything they do down to the so-called hall cleaning. PLEASE don t be fooled by that model apartment shown on the first day (YOU KNOW THAT S THE MAIN ONE THEY WILL KEEP CLEAN FOR SHOW), the rest don t look that way, or at least not mines. If you don t want roaches or those nasty ---- roaches I suggest you bomb that place and spray it down good before moving any of your things in. Then we have the whole visitors parking pass...its a pain for those that work full time jobs and can t get to the rental office before closing time. Yes, they put them on they re rental office door, but oh my... don t let "them" forget to put one on the rental door, they will swear people in the neighborhood are stealing them and believe me your car will be towed and Jack Towing wants their 125.00 to get your car back, not your sad story about " how they forgot at the rental office to leave you a pass." TO SUM IT UP THIS PLACE AND STAFF IS A REAL PAIN IN THE A$$ and I cant wait until this long year I have is OVER!

All I'm just saying don t jump into this place like I did, be careful.

If you are not happy with your apartment, then why are you here? I have been here for 17 years and have never had any of the problems you are speaking of. The office staff has been nothing short of wonderful anytime I call them and they address my concerns immediately and I do not feel as though I am a "nag" to them at all. My advice to you? If you aren't happy, then find somewhere else to live.
