Pricey, but perhaps it's worth it.

We've been here since February or March of 2005. After comparing other apartment and townhouse complexes, we have figured out that we pay more for rent than most other places charge. Our townhouse seems bigger than most, though. We've got 3 bedrooms, one full bath and 2 half baths. The kitchen space is used fairly well considering its size, which helps. There are several strategically placed closets, inlcuding his and hers closets in the master bedroom, that also make storing things a bit easier. The maintenance staff is superb. They are always courteous and usually, very timely. My biggest complaint is the lack of a small lawn for ourselves. People don't always follow the rules about picking up after their dogs and walking them away from other's houses. I can't let my kids off the porch because they'll probably find a "land mine." You have two parking spaces per townhouse (in the apartments it's a free-for-all lot), which is nice. However, the on-street parking could be better marked off and there is little lighting over there. The pool is nice, but small. They also have a small playgroup for younger children. The apartments have laundry rooms in at least one building, and the townhouses have washer and dryer hook-ups. They have W/D's available for rent, though I believe they are only the compact sizes. All of the issues we have had here have been caused by other tenants - our former neighbors abandoned their townhouse and our house flooded because they didn't bother to properly disconnect their washer. Maintenance came out and so did professional carpet cleaners. It was all taken care of very swiftly. Overall, it is a pretty, quiet, relatively-safe place to live... just a bit pricey. :-)
