All those who say that this apartment complex is great is out of their minds. We just got out of there (thankfully!) and after living there for 1 1/2 years I can honestly say that it is the WORST. Since we the moment we moved in, we had palmetto bug problems. Those of you who don't know what they are... they look like huge cockroaches. they are INFESTED with them! The office is like a revolving door (at least 14 people in 1 1/2 yrs) and every person who has worked there cares very little about any problems that occur within the complex. The maintenance team is not much better (although the person recently hired to be in charge is better). We had mold problems because the tub in the upstairs unit was not sealed correctly and water flowed into the walls on a constant basis. The ceiling in our bathroom directly below was SOFT from all the water damage. We called several times and nothing was done until the new maintenance man was hired and even then it was barely fixed. Crime is not a HUGE problem. My neighbor across the hall got her door kicked in and stuff stolen, our cars were all broken into, a young woman shot her husband, 8 month old child and herself out on the patio and there are BULLET HOLES IN OUR CARS FROM GUNS BEING SHOT DIRECTLY OUTSIDE OUR APARTMENT! On top of that, every letter that cojmes from the office is hugely menacing to scare you into doing whatever they want. They always threaten eviction with anything they see out of line.
