We moved into this apartment in August of 2008, because the rent included all the utilities. I have to say knowing what we do now we never would have moved in. First of all the staff only cares about getting money. They don't care about any complaints you have and do very little to fix any problems, if you can even get a hold of them. The hallways and the elevators stink and I'm pretty sure if we didn t have tons of air fresheners in our apartment it would stink too. We had to call maintenance at least half a dozen times because of water leaks within a month. Now there is mold and bugs in the bedroom. For 600 sq ft. the rent is outrageous. Even with the utilities it is still outrageous. And if for some reason you want out of your lease good luck. We have had so much trouble with them and we ve only left a couple of weeks early. And they ve tried to extend our lease even though we told them with plenty of time that we wanted out. They told us we left a dirty stove which was a bunch of bull because I got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed it clean. And they accused us of breaking a window blind, which is also a lie. They threaten to tow anyone without a resident parking sticker but I know for a fact that on the fourth of July the management that does live there had visitors parking is resident s spots. They also left a note on one of our vehicle that we needed to move it because the spot was to be reserved for management. It was clearly marked as a resident spot; management is just too lazy to walk unlike the rest of us. Before we left some of the lights had been cut off in the back lot creating a safety hazard. I don t know how some of the residents could live there for two years or more because it s just not worth it. I DO NOT recommend that you sign a lease with this place or the Myrtles at Olde Towne because they office staff run both properties.
