I lived at Pepperwood a few years ago and just can't imagine that things have gotten anywhere near the conditions these folks have written. I know the place was sold a couple of years ago and I still take the time to visit friends that still live there and have for many, many years, and they continue to have nothing but good things to say about it.
I have to say that if you all are having or have had; there must be a whole lot more going on than what you are saying. The management and maintenance people have been some of the best around and do great things for the community.
If you are so unhappy with the way you say, it looks like you have an the chance to move out, but elected to stay. As for the military person and knowing a bit about the military, you have to give a notice you like all the other folks and pay that rent, unless we are at war you are not entitled to any different treatment than anyone else.
I also know that the pet rules for this place is two pets, so I guess you are lucky they did not catch you with three dogs.....now that is funny.
Anyway, I would recommend this place to everyone and especially for our military folks!

you really shouldn't make posts on apartments if it's been 4 years since you've lived in them.. a lot can happen in those 4 years.
and to the rude comment.. you say you don't have time for the childish games yet you're egging them on. Before you insult someone check your spelling so you can appear intelligent. People take other persons who know grammar more seriously, trust me.
You had a bad experience, I get it but there's no need to be so hostile about it. If you have an issue with the charges made then you contact a lawyer on base about it..and no I do not work for this complex. I don't even live here haha. But I check out apartment ratings so when my husband and I move out of this one we have some places to check out.

This is the Assistant Manager:
First of all this has to stop since neither one of you are living here right now. First Anonymous, who's husband lives out here and signed a lease that stated our policy on terminating a lease-You have to give a 30 day notice- Anyone else (who is not military)has to pay a 30 day notice and a terminating fee (which is one month's rent). But because he is military he did not have to pay that fee. When he provided his military orders and was told of our policy (again) he had no problems and did not stress his frustration nor did he ask if there was anything we could do to help his situation nor did he stat that there was a situation with his wife in another state. When he or his wife came into the office to utilize our services there was never a maintenance request or a suggestion that there were problems in their unit. We are not going to know your concerns unless you address them, If you do not like our policy on terminating a lease make sure your husband allows you to look over the lease before he signs or ask what our procedures are so you can be aware. For the other Anonymous we appreciate your good remarks on the property but it does not give either one of you the right to go back and forth like children!!! Again for the resident who is still living here, we assume you know our office hours since you come regularly to use the computer, please give us a call since you are so frustrated with the situation so that way we can see what we can do for you. (757) 483-6390.
Thanks

What I love is the fact that you make comments about a sex offender that lives there and they don't. I had no problems when I lived there. Anytime something had to be fixed, it got fixed. Like I stated before I still go out there and visit from time to time and the property still looks great. I can only surmise that you have broken some rule out there and have now become an angry camper. Might it have to do with the 3 dogs or maybe it has to do with the fact that you are being required to make that last month payment like everybody else in order to break your lease in good standing. Anyhow, if your going to make baseless claims about a property make damn sure you can backup everything you say. You see in the military if a service member makes claims it has to go thru the command. If the complaints are valid then something can be done. On the other hand, if the complaint is without merit the compliant can then be denied their housing allowance.
