I totally agree with all the bad responses on here!! Westwinds is the worst place you could ever live at or work. i work there for almost a year and a half first off they dont pay their employees ----. Im so glad I found the same job making $15 an hour doing the same thing. If you guys want people to work for you that give a ---- then maybe you need to pay them more. I dont even wanna get started on the Corporate office... ------- she is a total piece of ----!! If your not rich and snobby like her then she dont like you, or if you look better than her. That was my problem she hated me which I had the same feelings for her too. The only person that was worht a ---- was the assistant manager they fired because of the rating she wrote on here, which is a croc of ---- too. that should have never happened. Ripley Heatwole Community's suck and I wouldnt never suggest any of their complexs to anyone who is looking for somethin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why they deleted names'' I guess they don't want their names put out there like that!! Oh well

I so agree. The corporate office's dealings with staff and residents are equally "horrible". I also do not recommend Ripley Heatwole communities as a home or office! Westwinds would probably be a much nicer place to live with stronger management "on site" and the **$$& out the corporate office. All the comments about security deposits, pet policy and people "hanging" in stairwells is all very true. Management does nothing to improve these situations. There are many pets around the complex, many people "hanging" and everyone complains about their refund. The manager is a good person, she's just governed by a bunch of sniveling crap at corporate, who cares only about the mighty income and not so much about the quality of life for its residents. If the on-site manager dosen't charge the resident anything on the move-out inspection, corporate sends it back and the manager "has" to charge something, no matter how unfair it is to the resident. They have a security officer but he only works hours where there are no problems, like 5-8. The company saves money on his pay that way. Ripley does up the rent a few times a year and barely pays it's staff enough to live on ramen noodles. They also have strict policies that go hand in hand with companies that actually "pay" for the quality employees that would follow those policies. Ripley pays about as much as Mc"Donald's. So if you are in the market for a good apartment or a good job, this company would not be the answer.
