You get what you pay for

Like many college apartments, these apartments are not in the best of shape. The area can be noisy on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights and many of the buildings are close together, so if someone is outside having a party at 3 am or even carrying on a loud conversation, you get to hear it all. You can't expect much from a college apartment, especially for the price I paid. But many of the buildings are in really bad shape, which is likely due to the negligence of previous management (the complex used to be called "Bergen Pines West"). The parking situation is also horrible. You have assigned spaces, but people park in them anyway. Management did take action on this, however, and put up signs and sent around notices that you could have cars towed. Overall, it's really not a horrible place to live while you are at college - it certainly beats dorm life. But you probably don't want to make this a permanent residence if you are living in Radford.
