I lived here when it was called Bergen Pines West and it is kind of a dump.
The apartments are really cold in the winter time and my window always was covered in condensation.
The carpets on the outside stairs are nasty and maintenance is a bit slow.
I remember when I moved in, the apartment was trashed from the previous tennants with stains in the carpet and all over the kitchen.
I came back two days later with a promise they would clean the place and maintenance hadnt even touched it.
I had to do all the cleaning myself.
The dumpster area is disgusting with garbage blowing everywhere and unfortunately, this is where one of the parking lots is so I got a nice smell every time I came home.
Most of the outlets were painted over so I had a hard time plugging things in.
It is relatively cheap though, and the area is nice and the pool isnt bad, but I couldnt live there again.
Management has changed since I was there, but Ive been back twice and nothing had changed.
Keep looking, this place is worth passing on.

My apartment was trashed too by the previous tenants, and although the office claims that the rug was professionally cleaned, I beg to differ. I took pics though and I don't smoke so I will not be paying for the stains that were already there nor cigarette holes in the carpet, so I hope they don't try to claim I did that. The garbage areas I have seen have been pretty clean actually, so maybe they had improved on that since the last poster was here.
