to start with, do you see a link to e-mail this apartment complex on this site' as a parent of a Radford student, i am voicing my opinion not the student's. I went to take my son money to pay HIS rent for 5 mos in advance, i was at the complex less than 35 minutes only to find my car towed off. it seems that in the previous 3 day's, 3 or 4 people he knew had guests who's vehicles were towed off in the middle of the night. as a parent, i feel that the parking spots should be marked as resident parking only or some other identifiable markings placed. not just a sign at the entrance saying parking for visitors in lot what ever. in each street area, 2 parking spots should be set aside for limited visitor parking. for the guest, grand parent or parent who stops by to just say hello, or to drop off something with out intending to be more than an hour. i understand the need for longer term vistor parking, but allowances should be made for the short visit.the fee to redeem the impounded car was $95.00 and had to be paid in cash. with out reguard that we were from out of town, it being 12:30 in the morning,and what bank is open then !!!! no credit cards allowed, no way to get to an atm machine or to where the car was being held hostage. stuck in a parking lot talking to a man who was not interested in anything other than finding another car without a decal so he could hook up and get gone real quick and quiet before being noticed, leaving you there wondering who he is in the first place and wondering where is the lot my car is held hostage at. $95.00 a whack, slip in , slip out. maybe i'm in the wrong business.
