Bad Management and facility- don't be fooled!

I am a student and I lived in a two bedroom apartment for a year. The management staff treated my roommate and me horribly. They threatened to throw us out for having a cat, and even after I gave them two letters advising me to keep my cat from doctors (which they requested), they didn't believe me, saying, "The Health Center just gives these to people." In order to keep my cat in my apartment, I had to obtain a psychologist's referral. It was such a hassle, and I was completely embarrassed by the staff at Hunters Ridge in front of other tenants.
Also, even though I was on the second floor, I had a leak in the ceiling in my bedroom, which took months to fix (I mean paint over).
There were numerous occasions where bugs and roaches had come into the apartment through the windows and walls.
I hope you like to party because there are parties every night of the week in Hunters Ridge. My roommate had to call the cops on the party upstairs from us on a MONDAY NIGHT.
It's not too far away from campus if you can make the shuttle bus, but when it's raining, good luck finding a seat.
The trash collectors take FOREVER to empty the bins, and it smells horribly. There are stray cats that go in and out of the bins, as well.
I always had trouble finding a parking spot near my apartment at night. I would have to park far away. It's ridiculous.
I hope you take my advice and never move in here; there are cleaner and quieter apartments elsewhere with a friendlier staff, I'm sure.
It's just not worth it... AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

Re: the cat. I had a cat that the found when they barged in unannounced, and they told me they didn't care if I had to kill it to get rid of it. But several people in this building have dogs. What the F*?!

It seems that if you somehow manage to get on the staffs good side, they do not bother you. I am surprised no one has blown the whistle on this before.. it is obviously illegal discrimination. Either require the same standards for everyone, or no one has a pet. That simple. The reason management makes such a big fuss about pets is because they stand to make a whole heap of cash for fining the heck out of you. It's how they make up for their cheap rent.
