I lived here for one year in a third floor apartment. During the first rain of the month we were there over the summer the ceiling leaked right through the ceiling fan. I had to call emergency matinence because the office of course was closed b/c it was after 5. Anyway they came and said there was nothing they could do abotu it until it stopped raining so they turned off the electricity to the fan and put a bucket under the leak. A week later they finally said they fixed the roof though we never saw them. Two months later during another big rain the ceiling started leaking again this time about a foot away from the original leak so again we called and they came and made a fist sized hole in the ceilng and the water that was in there drained in a non stop stream, not drips a stream, for a good 15 mins. They said they had to let that dry out and then theyd fix it, again a week later they came and did a bad patch job on the hole and said they fixed the roof. Two weeks later it rained again and this time it was leaking worse they came and placed a 40 gallon trash can under it and vowed once again to return, two weeks later they hadnt returned and I had to go to the office and tell them that we were tired of having this big trash can of water in the middle of our living room they came and emptied the trash can of water but said it was still too slick to be up on the roof. Finally after two more hard rains and 10 more gallons of water in the trash can they fixed the roof, they never came to get the trashcan we just set it outside the door w/ the water still in it. During all of this they had also done inspections and a very small piece of one of the blinds in my bedroom window had broken off and they sent me a bill for $25 and told me I had a week to pay it. Two days before it was due I got a letter from them telling me that my payment was late and that I had three days to get it in before they started the eviction process. I also got a call from my parents because they had sent them the same letter. I never missed paying my rent on time so I dont know what they were thinking there. The matinence people are always in and out without telling you what theyre doing, we came back one day to find they had taken all of the cabinet doors to replace them, and then we didnt get the new doors for a month. Also if all of you are moving out of the apartment at the end of the lease they will show your apartment even if you told them when you signed the lease that you didnt want to show it, so for the last 5 months we lived there they showed it probably over 200 times, sometimes 3 showings or more a day. Many times they would only call once to let us know they were coming then show it three times throughout the day without calling assuming one call per day was enough. All in all this place has horrible management who really do not care about anything other than making money. DO NOT LIVE HERE

This review is 100% true, it sounds very similar to my experience, as well as that of everyone who has lived here that I know personally. I worked a crappy job and could barely make rent on time as it was, I couldn't afford to pay the fees that I was given no time to pay, not to mention the fee I had to pay to get my car out from Blacksburg when it got towed because they didn't see the sticker on my car!
