I have lived in Hunters Ridge Apartments for 4 years. I have been treated with great respect by all the staff here! It's cool to go right outside your door and hit the river to cool off, and use the tanning bed to keep your tan all summer for free! I also get to work out for free too! I read these reveiws and quite shocked what these people said about a beatiuful community , Please check around other places, bet you dont have W/D, mircowave,free water,free bus service,free tanning, free fitness, and well lite parking with a parking right beside you unit. I know most places in Raford
dont have individual leases either, at least if you have fallen out with a roommate you have the option of going to another unit, Most places your stuck with that person the whole year, lets say that your bad roommate does not wont to pay rent anymore, well at Hunters Ridge you will not be held responsible to pay your roommates rent or late fees! Trust me you will not be able to find that any where in Radford!
I almost forgot, they have a courstesy officer too, If you have a flat tire or an apartment music to loud, he takes care of everything for you! It's great not to call the police.
THINK BEFORE YOU SIGN ELSEWHERE! HUNTERS RIDGE IS THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!

WARNING--while this may be true, I would encourage you to check out the management at this place. They were extremely nice to me prior to signing a lease and were willing to do anything they could for me in order to make me feel as though it was a good decision. Their apartments are nothing like their "models" they show you and are in no way a reflection of what their leasing office looks like.
If management has changed since 2006, I apologize to the new management and I hope that they have cleaned the place up a bit.
The management during the time I lived there were as follows:
Candee Layne (Senior Management)
Jackie Lowery (Leasing Agent)
Rachel Ambler (Jr. Leasing Agent)
Jackie lied to me about several aspects and proceeded to show us a very nice apartment that we DIDNT GET and only found out that we were on the back side of the place AFTER signing a lease. Poor Rachel is a misguided early 20 something who ended up doing their dirty work for them. She told me personally that she participated in some of the parties there in the community and that the building I was moving into was one of the quiet ones. That was a complete lie. First night I spent there I was kept awake by extremely loud music, drinking, parties etc. until about 6 AM. I normally go to bed at midnight or so anyway.
Candee is a different case entirely. She considers herself high and mighty, not to mention professional but she's not. She is an underhanded little *^^&%$%$@ just like the rest of the group. I really should put together some sort of a website based around this experience to tell people how to get out of their lease at this place if they have the same problems I had.

Your such a bitter puppy! Hunters Ridge Apartments Are Great!The condition of the units is not Management's fault! If there was a problem why didnt you be a man or woman to tell someone that you so unhappy with your apartment. Oooooooo of course you remained anonymous so that noone would know how much of a lair you are! Hunters Ridge Apartments will do whatever it takes to make you happy! If need something just ask instead of becoming bitter and angry at everyone! Word to the wise, No one can read minds of others, if your unhappy speak up!........................Leslie L.

Once again, no one would give ANY apartment a perfect 5 on everything and be ever so gracious as to list all of the amenities as if they were reading a radio commercial. (As well as listing the exact same amenities as the last reviewer). And guess what? When I lived there and compained when something was wrong (that was wrong when I moved in) AND noted on my move-in inspection, they fixed it alright, AND THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT!

Are you serious? This place sucks! Walk around and look at the windows.. there are screens on less then half of them, and the rest are held on with duct tape!
