I honestly feel like the person who wrote the positive reviews were sitting in their rolly chairs in the hunters ridge office. The reason I feel this way is because the spelling is horrible, and no one I've ever talked to has had nice things to say about this complex. People who don't even live here can't seem to find nice things to say about this residence. Not everything about living here has been horrible. When we were friends with maintenance everything was easy. We were getting free playstation 2s, tvs, dvd players etc. We had every issue taken care of the day we called it in. But now, we're getting fined for trash that isn't ours and we were told that they "didn't have anyone else to blame and it was closest to our apartment". (That was their reason for fining us.) It took 4 months (literally) to have our ice maker put in. We got charged for broken blinds (that were being held up with duck tape). My roommates and I were forced to move out of our first apartment here because the people above us were urinating off of the balcony, throwing un-opened beer cans at us, and playing music at 4am that was so loud, I could clearly hear the lyrics. When we were pushed to the point of having to move out, we had to sign a lease until 2009, and we had to pay ANOTHER $100 re-decorating fee. So obviously, regardless of the circumstances we were under as GOOD residents, we were still getting screwed by the office. Now that we've moved we're starting to have to put up with the same kind of issues. This morning for example, there's vomit and cigarette butts, and god knows what else all over our patio chairs and patio. I CALLED THE OFFICE WITH MY COMPLAINT and was hung up on. I have taken my issues to the office on NUMEROUS occassions and was told that there was nothing they could do. WHICH IS A LIE...they just don't want to lose any money by having to kick someone out. It wasn't bad living here at first, when I thought I would be treated with some respect. But then when I started to have issues I wasn't being listened to, WHICH MIGHT BE THE REASON STUDENTS ARE INVOLVING THEIR PARENTS. Because YOU in the OFFICE won't talk to the "adults" like you talk to us. Living here has become THE BIGGEST nightmare and I'm desperate to get out. Hunters ridge has an office full of really nice, happy people who care (when you're shelling out the cash while signing your lease) and then, by the time you have your stuff settled in and things go downhill they aren't even remotely the same people. They only care about your wallet and NOT your concerns. And I'd like to add about the "pet policy". THIS IS THEIR PET POLICY: If the maintenance and office staff LOVE you, you can have WHATEVER you want.
